Veneers

Dr. Neil Vora and Dr. Greg Villeneuve have both taken extensive extra training in cosmetic dentistry and esthetics. There are many advanced materials available to us nowadays, with different properties to match your needs. Zirconia, lithium disilicate and other porcelains allow for veneers that are stronger, more natural and more esthetically pleasing than ever before. It is our pleasure to discuss which material is right for you to ensure a beautiful smile today and decades from now.

What Are Dental Veneers?

Porcelain veneers are thin, porcelain covers that fit over the front of your tooth structure. Useful in cosmetic dental cases, veneers offer a solution to completely change the look of your smile, while still looking natural. Drs. Vora and Villeneuve use their dental experience combined with their artistic skills to design a smile that can give you confidence, function, and comfort for many years to come.

Reasons for Getting Porcelain Veneers?

The most common reasons for veneers are to cosmetically change or enhance your smile. It could be to change color or shape, fix chipped and worn teeth, or veneers can be used in conjunction with crowns to re-make smiles disfigured by an accident. For misaligned or crowded teeth minor crowding can often be remedied with veneers. For major crowding or severe misalignment you may first need to have orthodontic treatment such as Invisalign or braces which can space the teeth perfectly and veneers can be used to enhance the effect. While gaps and spaces are often best aligned with braces or Invisalign, veneers are also an excellent option in select cases.

Correcting Stained Teeth

Discolored teeth can be brought back to their natural white color with simple methods like a dental cleaning or professional whitening (bleaching). Some staining, however, cannot be removed and may need veneers to cover them. Medical conditions and some early childhood antibiotics can cause stains that can be covered by veneers and bring about a life changing smile rejuvenation.

Broken Down Teeth

Front teeth with multiple or large dental fillings can be strengthened with veneer coverage. In many cases a crown may be needed, however where possible veneers are a great conservative option to keep front teeth strong also improving improving esthetics by covering unsightly staining that can form around dental fillings.

Teeth can also wear down from age and use. Veneers can restore the length of your teeth and give you a younger appearance.
